Wow! You comment quite often about the colors in my posts, but this is so outstanding! What a dynamic image! This would make a great poster. It's just beautiful color work. The cardinal stands out so well among the snowy background. I miss cardinals here in Washington. What a beautiful bird and what an absolutely perfect shot of one.
Actually, I'm reexamining the image, and I don't think it is snowy - I think you desaturated around the bird, right? It doesn't make any difference - it's a great idea and a great shot!
A nice & sharp image of this cardinal ... love the framing as well as the red & greyish colors together. Excellent work Randy ... right into the fav's. I love it.
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away. Henry D. Thoreau
He is a stand out for sure and a lovely capture without a doubt. I would like to see a thinner border of red because I think this one detracts from the attention I want to give to the bird. I like his pose. I guess he didn't notice you there.
Great manip Randy! oh wait... it is a manip, isn't it?
i love the red you used in the border to match the bird. i love the framing and the b/w background. very interesting post! Carol
Great manip Randy! I love the way this guy stands out against the monochrome background. Where the heck is Snoopy? I suddenly seem to have a craving for pizza too..=P
Picture Purrrfect .
A purrrfect world is what we all want, but, seems too unobtainable. If I've viewed and commented on your post, and you liked my remarks then NO THANKS is needed...just getting to see your wonderful work is thanks enough for me!!
Also BIG thanks to all who check out my work!! I appreciate any and all comments & feedback!!
