how lovely to see such pretty birds in your backyard Randy! This is not a bird I would see in my garden. I have a bird feeder set up and was thinking of getting a remote control for my camera and setting my camera up because they just flee as soon as they detect the slightest movement! ...anyway excellent capture - I can see lots of detail, so I expect you had your camera on a tripod for this shot!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I did too, am not sure why it hasn't been scored yet, but at any rate, it look tiny even for a hummer...could it be a baby already? Ours have gone to sit on their nests now, so we don't see quite so many, but we had regular wars out on the back deck when the feeders were put up last week. I've always loved bird watching but never as much as when I joined here....so do a 30 pic series if ya got it in ya :)
Awesome Randy. I really like it. Lovely color and clarity. This bird is very polite :) not like the Swedish birds that I have seen ...LOL... I just cant ger the birds to stand still so that I could take som shots of them (with the camera of course).
