The Eastern Gray Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) is a tree squirrel that is native to the eastern to midwestern United States and the eastern provinces of Canada. The Eastern Gray Squirrel makes a variety of noises, including a loud screeching, a "buck buck buck" sound and a chattering, often followed by "kyukyukyuuuu". They make these noises to communicate with other gray squirrels, and sometimes they make noises during mating.

Haha, cynlee ! I am quite the squirrel fan and really appreciate this shot ! I've also noticed that they have one alarm call for predators such as cats,dogs,etc. and another very high pitched call for aerial predators such as hawks.
This is a great shot capturing their curious and watchful manner and it's very clear with a good pose on the fence!

Is this your back garden again? His fingers ( is that what their called?)look so long. Great shot. There is a kinda debate here as the grey squirrels are killing the smaller native red squirrels over what to do about the big greys.
