I'm not sure I like this in B&W, but it does bring out amazing detail in the petals and I like how the few stand out against the rest. These look like hydrangea's to me, which I love, and I would really like to see this in color, but that's just me :)

That's neat Randy.
Whole different thing in B&W. Like the fade thing ya did with the frame too. Very cool...

Hey Randy :o)

The first two things I noticed were the high contrast, and the cascading composition. Well done on both counts.

The bright whites are great, but perhaps a tad less bleach might've been the way to go here. Also, I'd really like to see a bit more of the "back up singers". The Shadow/Highlight Tool in Photoshop should be able to help that, and/or adjusting whites, blacks, and neutrals in "selective color" might as well.

Lastly... I like the thin border.. nice, unassuming, subtle touch. And it has sharp corners. It's "shadow"... doesn't. *scratches head and utters a "ruh roh rhaggy". If the shadow doesn't fit, get rid of it :P

How about a shadow (with a defined corner) under two sides, like the right, and top? Would give an off-set, 3d feel to it.

Overall, I like this quite a bit. Good job, kiddo ;-)

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
