This, my friends, is the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. It's a full 900 feet deep, and as much as half a mile in width. It's really amazing to stand at the top on a rocky outcrop and look down into the valley. Also: Sorry it's not exactly wallpaper-friendly, but we were able to fit the most of the scene in in this orientation.

Awesome presentation! This could easily be a painting. Stunning fast moving stream - a longgg way down. Wonderful to see the trees so tiny in the distance. Thanks Jon, for sharing this magnificent canyon with us :)
