It's a beautiful flower, I have apple trees in my yard too. Good photo, very sharp, but I think it needs more contrast.

Looking at both thumbnails of your two versions I thought I would prefer the redo. However on viewing full size I much prefer this one. It has retained the delicacy of the flower and gives the impression of clear sunlight reflecting off it.
