This is my TG render of Ayers rock in Australia. At first I thought it would be a real easy render but that chunk of rock took a while to make just right. Enjoy :' )

Nice work! Very convincing. I would suggest that you do some work on the contrast in Photoshop if possible, but the render itself is excellent.

Hmm, maybe I have my monitor settings different than you guys. The contrast seems fine to me. In your opinion, what's wrong with the contrast? Too dark/light?

i do not know how to make these renders and such but i would do a lil more contrast between the rock and the land below and maybe put a smaller pebble in the land up front to give more depth, i dunno if these was any help but i hope so

The unexpected often reveals new ideas and unexplored paths. Therefore, one must learn to “look.” Nothing should restrict one’s manner of expression as long as “it works.” No amount of words can describe a photograph or create one. Frequently, we “find” without seeking, acting upon Pasteur’s expression “Chance favors the prepared mind.” That is why so many great “accidents” seem to happen to better photographers.--Arnold Newman

Unmistakeable image. Just one addition from me. We have reverted from it's European name back to its aboriginal name - ULURU.

Go well

"What other reason could there be to get up in the morning except to set ourselves free." If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.

Ahh the biggest rock in the world. In the centre of Australia. WHAT ARE THE ODDS OF THAT HAPPENING. Anyway love the sunset next to Ayres rock. Good shot and Good timing.

I think the contrast is fine. I think that is what the photo should be, its almost a sillhouette. The only change I would make is probably to emphasize the massiveness of the rock somehow... maybe if you were looking up at it sort of, or have another object compare to it in some way. But I like the photo. the c-index should be higher!

I was looking for information on Uluru for a speech class when I happened upon your picture. It is spectacular! Almost as beautiful as seeing it in person, which I was able to do back in 1991. Very nice work!
