Beautiful composition, colours & clarity. I really like the lines around the silo and the various colours and tones of taupe, beige and grey and how the grain field, wheat I presume, draws that colour out in the silo. I also like that all the other buildings/houses are mostly hidden behind the trees. Are these still in use today and what is the purpose of the smaller one with the red & white roof. Great post and for sharing.
I'm guessing by the overgrown ivy and the rust on the roof of the smaller building that this is no longer in service. I think it a shame that corporate American took over the livelihood of small-town citizens.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
