I'm glad you told us about the depth of this basin! This is an incredible scene, and it is too bad there isn't anything on the valley floor to indicate some sort of scale. I do see a train and some telephone poles on the lower right. I hope you got a shot of those mountains in a sunset or sunrise light...I bet the shadows on them would be outstanding.
