Another shot from my unauthorised trip to the woods today! This one was nestled in a tree where it divided into two branches! Wouldnt fancy eating this one, its a bit crusty! lol

Now THAT is how I like to see a photo of mushrooms. I'm there - I can smell the woods and vegetation. This is really good and I love it. 'Framing' and compsition just right - and about the only thing I'd do would be to cut out that weeny bit of light in the top right corner (well, I'm told I have to say some suggestion! ;~/). More unauthorised visits please!

Just have some of these made up and sell them, and then you wouldn't have to worry about the work-a-day world...now wouldn't that be fun :) I like the view you've given us here, and it's definitely a "crusty" look...an altogether different looking mushroom from what I've come to expect. nice job ;)PJ

Phew...This really looks venimous. I would be surprised if that was edible. This is a great closeup, as I can see all the ''warts''. Excellent composition and capture. :)
