Don't let him whisper in your ear, like the owls did. Looks like he could be plotting something. I think he's looking for Nigel and the dead rabbit. Good post Jan. You're really good at this.

Another wonderful shot, you just keep coming with them. Your crop and DOF on this are so very good, you literally just got his face in focus and everything else falls away beautifully. It really is a portrait - he looks so human! Light and colour balance are perfect too. Congratulations Jan it's a(nother) stunner.

Fantastic, Jan! You know if he were a human, he'd be snubbed in the VB! lol I think he looks lost in thought! At least, that's what I'd like to think, but he probably is just 'pissed off' as you put it! lol A wonderful capture. Can't say enough good stuff about this one!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Stunning portrait! Got this in VB and had to comment on it. You've captured something quite enigmatic in his expression. Or he could be just, well, 'pi$$ed off'...

I haven't seen such an outstanding animal portrait for a long time... It is truly light-painted and I suppose this is what makes it so magnificent.
