the presentation on this one is simply stellar, jan. the use of the turq. on the frame is such a great idea. the off center placement is brilliant. i love the vertical aspect of the blades of grass.

EJ made that up, didn't he? This is a beautiful insect, the likes of which I have never seen before. Do they come in orange, too? LOL. Very nice picture.

Really great Jan. It looks like you have joined the Bug Brigade with Tigz, Frogz and Eggz. Does that make you Redz? Short for Infrared. EJ is more full of it then the stud horses I know. This will get high marks.

Love the colour and the way the insect body is echoed in the lines of the grasses. Sweet.

What the heck were you doing to get this? I have visions of you sloshing about in wellies in a swamp? Anyway I've concluded you're not capable of taking a badly composed pic - even with stuff like this, which must have been total spur of the moment, you put it all together so well. It's like the hands of a clock ticking all the way from 9 to 12. You're a genius - and very welcome to the birthday wishes!! I'm just not sure I'd like to have your head on my shoulders tomorrow ;-)

Phenomenal capture Jan, the clarity is terrific and the iridescent blue contrasts wonderfully with the deep greens, fabulous!
