this lil fella is in my garden , dunno what he is but hes kinda cute close up i think! he wasnt very big, about 1cm or so perhaps.

He's a Grasshopper and his names Kwai Chang Kaine ..Watch out He's lethal..Ask Master Po ..You'll find him in the Toilet...Sorry couldn't help adding that last bit myself..

it is either an 'Aphid' or a 'Greenfly'...depends how close you shot it!...hell'ova capture too Jan....still got some bug juice under it's 'paws'!!!

Now how the heck did you manage this? Looks like an aphid but that would take a microscope. It certainly is a helluva capture though - all the right bits pin sharp, even down to the drops of dew on his feelers. The colour tones are great too. Top of the class again Ms Q.

Looks like a Katydid searching for some citrus fruit to chomp on. Not finding that, almost anything tender and green will do. Citrus growers hate them because the only take a few bites out of the fruit and move on, leaving a nasty scar in the fruit. It's probably an illegal alien that came in as an egg in a fruit crop. Great shot of one of the 10 least wanted.

Ask your Congressmen and Senators why our existing wells aren't pumping more than 3 days a month? There a lot of unused capacity in existing wells.
