I get to be the first! He looks like a sleeping bald eagle, a bit. Replacing the sky was inspired, it definitely adds - better than the wire mesh over the cage for sure! I like your take on this one - I'm going to struggle to keep up with you but I have a version to post too.
It does have eagle overtones to it Jan. Sounds like you and Sir Nigel have a bit of a contest underway. I really like how it looks. The feathers are so clear. Great shot.
sorry if i don't comment on each of your pictures. to those of you who comment so often, i can't imagine how you get it done! i for one am always extremely grateful for the kind comments and suggestions that you make.

These zoo shots just get better and better. This couldn't be bettered if the bird was brought into a studio to be photographed. If I was wearing one, Jan, I'd take my hat off to you!

Very nice....is this another that you and Sir Nigel scouted out? You two make quite the nice pair of photographers! I think, as well, that the replacement of the sky was inspired.

I just love this one Jan! The replacement of the sky was a very good idea in my opinion. It makes this wonderful bird look free as a bird :-). The details are amazing. Wonderful shot! +favs
I much appreciate all the comments I receive about my images, but please excuse me if I don't always reply. My interest in Caedes is exceeding my time available!
