wow Jan... nicely done! I have faith in you!! You can quit!! :) Just keep these things up cause they're way better than smoking! haha Really though, this is super fun and very beautifully painted. The colors are superb!
Excellent, my lady of many talents! Looks like a painted wood carving. Very well done and good luck quitting. I did about twenty years ago. What a relief to be rid of the old ball and chain! You can do it! I know you can and look at all the wonderful creative things you'll be doing instead. (Not to mention the money you'll be saving). Every week or so that you go without, reward yourself with a new piece of equipment or some art supplies! lol
Hey Jan, this is absolutely terrific! It has an almost lithograph look about it, thanks to the way you've graduated and melded the colours so beautifully. I wonder perhaps, if the glint in the eyes should both be the same? A really creative and colourful piece of work!
So glad to see you painting again and congrats on giving up the weed! Wishing you every success, my friend.
P.S. If you get a chance, take a look at my gallery. Any comments, criticisms, or advice on any particular pics would be more than welcome. But only if you have a spare moment! Have an awesome day!
Think being creative this way will be very helpful to quit smoking Jan. Wish you a lot of succes. I did stop smoking when I was only five years old. Don't smile as it is the truth:
Got as a joung boy a pipe of stone intended for blowing bubbles. As my father was a pipe smoker I asked him for some tobacco. Although my mother protested, he filled and lighted it. Then I started blowing into the pipe. "Wrong", said my father, "you have to suck and inhale." Ten minutes later I had to to go to the toilet. I was that sick that I never smoked again!
Regards, Cornelius.

Reminds me of a scene from the Twilight Zone about a man that quit smoking, went crazy and became trapped in the glass at the local tobacco shop. Not of that is true, but it would make a nice show. Great work on the painting and I will join the list of quitters. It will be three years in October. Heart attacks do that to you. Glad you beat the devil.
Strange stuff to me, but if you do as good a job at quitting smoking as you do always do here then you will succeed. We will then see more creations, with no smoke. The best of luck to you.
Wow..this is really good! Is this a copy of something or is this your original work? It's really fantasy either way...hope it helps you to stop smoking!
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
This has a very different "vibe" to it when xfered to the desktop. Extremely energetic work - quitting smoking must be complicated psychologically and spiritually.

Hmm I'm not impressed by JimBob's comment but I am impressed with your artistic ability! Long may the non-smoking continue Jan, especially if it means more posts like this.
Jan, you are really talented! I think this is brilliant work. Glad to know you're trying to refrain from smoking by doing something else. Good luck to you.
Love the primal scream on your green man. Hope your still doing well without the smokes. When I gave them up 13 years ago, one of the this that helped me was screaming, LOL. Good for me but drove my husband mad, he he.
