What a great capture Jan. I have only seen this on documentaries, never in real life. Wonderful photo.

I'll bet the deer don't mind it, Jan - as a matter of fact I'll bet they love it! Very nice nature shot and I love the look on the deers face. She actually looks bored -

Why walk or fly when you could be carried? Everybody benefits here. the deer get rid of ticks etc and the rooks get a free meal. Very good image Jan, well spotted.

Hey, tell them to take it easy on the Ticks. We have to live too. Great shot Poco. Funny how old Ma Nature works it all out. I like how the grasses almost hide the deer. Such a natural setting.

Very good composition...unless my monitor is way off, I think this needs more tonal/colour depth...it just seems a bit flat. JMO

Fine focus, Jan. I think that's how we got Lyme disease from the birds here. I'll bet the deer are relieved though.

This one came out great Jan. It was fun watching them getting cleaned up, amazing how they tolerate the birds picking and pecking at them. I hadn't thought about Lyme's disease but Cyn has a point. You did great with this one.
