Just an experiment in photoshop... fire by stock.xchng... the demon photo by me taken at the brisbane show... I would appreciate feedback on this so i can improve.. Thanks
I like your concept here Jacqueline. I do think that the demon could fit better in the image...right now he seems a bit too transparent, especially around the middle.. But I like what you've done. Nice to see you experimenting! Keep at it!

The Brisbane Demon Show???? .. O_O
I like it, and it is VERY good to see you experimenting ... all I would suggest is to try to remember a little foreground and surroundings .. perhaps a little framing ... and .. a story, where did he go to school, did he break up with his first love, or did she dump him ??? .. does he like spicy food?
Stop trying to figure out who's talented and who's not, and just take a shot at it, okay? Do some art. Tell anybody who asks that I said it was all right.

Okay. If you are going to work on this, how about no demon? hehe. j/k. He sure looks proud like he's just done some major damage! Some great detail in him too. I think he'd look kinda cool in a flame fractal I know you have the talent to do. ;) But yes, this choice of fire image is pretty dramatic as well and I have to give you kudos for trying something new. Soooooooooo...it's up to you. Just wear garlic or something around your neck for protection.
You would need to remove the shadows on the demon... specially on his feet’s..
Do this by using the Dodge Tool with Photoshop.
Also brighten the surfaces with saturation.
