All the time I was on the river I was trying to get a good pelican pic (I love pelicans) but couldnt get one... finally got back to the marina.. (while I was waiting for the kids) I came face to face with Mr Percival.. he was rescued awhile ago and decided he would make this place home, they feed him fresh fish and he's very tame.. and finally got to feed him its amazing when your holding the fish and this giant mouth opens up infront of you, wish i was holding the camera then because a closeup shot of the inside of his mouth would have been different.. LOL... took this just before he spat the fish back out near my foot... lol

I guess this would be a little like a duck out of water. Good capture .

Nice clear shot. Too bad he wouldn't turn around and give you a smile...Like the contrast of the grass and subject. good job.

Very nice "capturing the moment shot". I love that he's in action and not just standing around calmly waiting you to say CHEESE! 8•).

I believe this is Louisiana's state bird. They are interesting in their appearance and actions. Mr Percival must be fussy if he spat that fish out :) This has lovely clarity and coloration. Very fun image - more please..
