Beautifully done. Probably not my first choice as I'm not that keen on gold but if you have to have gold, it might as well be this good. I do rather like the display of the gold on black. That's odd as I don't usually like plain backgrounds much, but I think it is that this gold doesn't seem to be an embellishment. It isn't high ornament. It isn't fussy or extra or designed to contribute razzle-dazzle. It just is and it is all there is. And it isn't especially attractive in any conventional sense. It might be valuable, but it isn't pretty. It makes a very nice image, but it isn't especially nice itself.

I too got this in the VB and gave it the high score. This is a lovely design and looks great as wallpaper. The fabric feel (silk?) is super pleasing and it's beautiful - could be a gorgeous belt on a black velvet dress - I'd wear it! Super job Jacqueline :^)
