This was a demonstration by the Alberta Forestry Dept at Long Lake, last summer. An excellent excuse to use the 'Burst 3' setting on the camera.

How totally cool! I am SO FAR from figuring out how to do that with my camera...but now I am inspired. Excellent cropping! I can see that each treeline is different, but you have the plane steadily rising and you have balanced the whole so that the broken white emulsion (whatever the real name of that fire-fighting stuff is) remained well balanced in the total composition.
