How would you like this view from your office or living room window? This is the ski-patrol hut at the Sunshine Village Ski Resort, north of Banff, at an altitude of around 8500 feet (Citadel Peak). The cabin is the last check-stop before those with steel legs and iron nerves hit what is known as "Delirium Dive" (parachute optional). http://skibanff.com/trail_map/main.html

If the parachute is optional, I am definitely taking one! You'd have to be nuts to decline a parachute...come to think of it, you'd have to be a little bit nuts to be where you are offered a parachute when skiing!
Nice control of light here...brights are bright but without blast, good definition on the mountains beyond, interesting sky.
