So last year I posted a shot of two eagles in a tree, using what came to hand (point n press and binoculars). A nice momento, but 'no cigar'. This morning, I was in a better position and close enough not to need the binoculars. With a little preparation, here's a Bald Eagle on Vancover Island.

We have bald eagles around here, but I have never even gotten close to getting a shot of one. Nice work.
