"Treaty of 1846 - line established 1857 - 1861. Surveyed and Marked 1933 - 1937" A little local interest to my neighbours to the south. These concrete marker posts stretch along the international boundary between the United States and Canada, at least for the first few miles or so from the western side. This post is the first post east of the Douglas border crossing; curiously it would be addressed as something like 176A Street & 0 Avenue .

Do you need a passport step over then?...

This would be a great choice of B&W and even Infra!...

This is so cool to see a post like that and no boarder crossing building. Make sure you have your passport to get into the US, lol..

It's the colour in this that's interesting to me. I'd call it pewter, it has a peculiar glowing quality.... Interesting post John.

Unique take on the subject. I like the pewter too. So does it also say Canada on the opposing side? Yeah, do we need a passport to step over?
