This posting follows on from yesterday's 'Treaty Line' picture. This is the view east, from mile #6 on the Canadian 'side'. Do you like the 3 wire fence and rough ditch that separates the two countries? It's not a spectacular view, made all the more mundane by the cars drifting by. But I found it a facinating experience, to be free to stand along a national boundary.

I find this very interesting indeed. I've never seen one of these, that fence sure is going to keep either side from crossing one way or the other.

Borders are just weird aren't they. On one side people call themselves this, on the other that..... And to think of all the wars and death that have gone along with them. Thought-provoking stuff John.
