No, not the latest girly pop-icon, but something more stately. Thank you for your comments on my last posting of the Paris Postcard. This is from the same trip (and you can probably guess that it won't be the last picture I upload from that trip) and I thought the geometry worked out rather nicely for a desktop image. With clear blue skies that day and limitless storage on the flash card, I could do my own version of Google Streetview.

Really like the angle of this image and beautiful rich tones and sky. I love seeing pictures from Paris.

The dark blue of the sky really does bring out the rich tones of the stone in the building. The clarity and the detail of the artwork on it is amazing.
