I've always struggled to get a 'good' shot of the moon. This was a lucky accident, being 2 stops faster than I thought. I'll take any lucky break I can get.
I framed the moon in the top right, as I thought this would make for an interesting desktop design.

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??
Very nice! I was hoping others were able to get better shot than than I... I was driving and following it both evening and morning!! I have been using Deskhide for a long time to keep the desktop clear for images.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick.
