An approaching storm about to hit the neighbourhood last night. A little HDR tweaking gives this terrifying prominence. Pleased to say that it passed quickly. I was going to smooth out the grain, but decided I liked it. Enjoy.

If I saw this I'd head directly for the root cellar... if we had one... This is wonderful in its scariness, can't get much more dramatic and threatening. Great capture. Love that title!

I like those two tall trees "standing athwart the storm (instead of "history") yelling STOP!" And that big round thing on the right hand side definitely means business.

I think the approaching storm would do a good job of smoothing the grain all on its own. A fantastic looking capture and marvelous looking scene, John. Wonderful cloud formations and colours in the sky.
