The Russian double-eagles have divided Peter into two halves. Two half-pictures defy math and refuse to make a whole one. Work more for unity of topic and be more aware of the things that detract from your subject.
Hmm i do not know about the remark above, if i check that gallery there are a lot of remarks i could make as well, but we are not here for that. I do like this image very much, since i like to view the world view sites like these. Russia is very unfamiliar to me although on the same continent. St Petersburg must be a good place to visit, specialy with their Herritage museum beeing there. Your image gives a good view over the city, and the eagles give the image dept. Thanks for the posting.
I am in the middle on this one. The picture is a little busy, keeps my eyes dancing around, but with the angels perched as they are on the corner of the building I don't see a better angle to shoot from. Therefore, in my opinion, the benefits of the shot override the busy-ness of the shot! Good capture!

intention of arriving safely in a pretty
and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up,
totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming,
"WOW! What a ride!"'
