This is quite possibly the calmest water I've ever seen in my entire life. As far as any online viewers know, I could have flipped this image upside down and noone would know the difference. The shot was taken at Bear Lake in the middle of the Rocky Mountain National Park on my way to peak Hallets Peak seen in the background and reflection. I'm pretty sure this hike was capped off by a hail storm as we slid down Andrew's Glacier with trash bags underneath us to keep us dry. Based on the clear sky, you'd never guess we'd have thunderstorm trouble.

It looks gorgeous! The water surface works all the magic reflecting the woods, the mountain and the cristal blue sky... How picturesque.

If you admire nature for its creations why don't you visit the gallery of its reporter...

Strangely enough the reflection looks better than the real landscape ...Or perhaps the other one is more real ... LOL
Although I am not that fond of framing, I like this image a lot.

Gosh, I am envious. Wish I was there! Just looking at this photo I can feel the serenity of the scene, the queitness and all you can hear is the sounds of nature. And the water like glass... very well done!
