This is the State Court building in Downtown Syracuse. I used Photoshop here with numerous layers, gradient filters, motion blur and special effects to bring attention to the statue of Christopher Columbus. I'm just learning the basics with P.S. and this is my first post useing the program. I'm rather happy with the outcome. Feel free to comment. -Jay

Well, the effects you used are certainly evident. It's a powerful image in color and silhouette. Keep on practicing..photoshop has many twists and turns, my friend :)

you did a great job, Jay. I wouldn't have any idea how to do this. I just got CS3 and find it intimidating.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
