I'm getting a feel for these kindof shots. Obviously there wasn't much color to begin with so the greyscale was automatic when I took this pic. Enjoy.

You nailed it! Well done. Honestly I have worked for a long time at capturing a concrete mill and have never gotten it right. I'm jealous. Very, very cool!

You have made the image look old just by doing it in b/w. It strikes me that upper NY has all the landmarks indicative of a long ago industrial age that has now passed on.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I'd have to agree with Cindy, especially in the cities, but in the country...well, that's a whole different story!! Nice in the greyscale. It conveys what things really are, no punches pulled !!! :)

Great treatment of our old industrial/railroad past. Love the black and white.
