I took this picture of the old barn out near my house, heading towards the Country sometime during the Summer. I've been wanting to use it for awhile now. I was messing around with these Canadian Geese shots taken at Beaver Lake, and Voila! I found the perfect setting for them.

Mr. Colorman, you do an absolutely wonderful job on your posts and I am impressed that you were able to capture two formations of birds heading south. I'd like to get this in the VB too!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Me too! I mean I hope I get to vote on this. This is a smooth and wonderful manipulation. Sometimes it's hard to sit on images you have, but it's always best to wait until the right match comes along!

I love this photo...the colours are moody and dramatic. I wonder if this was a morning or an evening shot. I got this in the voting booth also and gave it a TEN..because I really think you did a fantastic job in capturing those love Snow Geese. They are flying over my area right now..I love their sounds so much! Thank you for a most lovely desktop and into my Favs it goes..verena

You are so right - that is the perfect setting - they are framed so wonderfully against the beautiful colors of the sky and the two flocks of birds are amazing.
