Heres a macro shot and a follow up to an earlier post "Crystal Forest". This is a must see in the larger view to get all the detail in. It was fun trying to pick out the right branch and angle with just enough sunlight to balance out the frame. Shot with a Canon Rebel XTi, 400D. w/ a Canon Compact macro lens 50mm. (1:2)

You did a fantastic job on this macro, Jay. I can see you were intent on getting it just right. It looks like each individual crystal of ice was carefully imbedded into the branches. This is excellent and looks extra special against the rich blue of the sunny sky.

Super job. This deserves much more than the c score indicates. I hope that I'm just looking at a prelim score.

Excellent clarity and such great focus with not only your camera, but with your two eyes and sense of the aesthetic!

Hey Jay..I've been cruising thru your gallery because I got a new computer this summer and I lost my Favs on here, so I am grabbing them for the second time around...LOVE this one! Just think it's magnificent. Verena
