Another wet morning shot from Franklin Square in Syracuse. This came out surprisingly good for the wind factor, slight rain and super long exposure. Canon R. XTi 18-55mm lens. Priority mode: Av 30" - f11. ISO 100.
nicely done, Jay. wet, dark streets and such make for great subject matter. they really do great things with light, and practically ooze texture. I have to say I'm split on the toning though...
Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.
Love the wet textures and details. There is a lot to see and contemplate. I like the effects used enhancing the scene. Especially drawn to the right walkway and to the trees.
Oh Jay, I think I've fallen in love with your black and white photo, and actually the 'bloo' is fantastic too. You have a real talent with these shots. The shine on them and the shadows are just magnificent. Also the curve of the fence and cobblestone type of road, very lovely. You've inspired me to try a few black and white shots soon also. Photos like this are wonderful, because a person can sit and just enjoy all the things, and take all the time they want, kind of like in a art museum. Thanx once again. I am enjoying your gallery. V
