Been keeping this one on the back burner. It was taken about 180 degrees left of "3 bridges - Franklin Square." Before wandering away, may I suggest viewing this in full size and absorb the light and shadows, on the silky, over flooded river that runs through this particular area in the City. Thanks to all who view and comment.

Great shot to take at night on the river. I too love that star filter and I'm glad to see you putting it to use. Nicely composed too, Jay.

For some reason, it whispers quiet and solitary to me. Very nice choice for b/w. So much to see in this dark scene. I like the textures and lighting/shadows.

No star filter Cindy, just a UV. I think it's because I had the f. stop up to 16. Thanks for the comments.

Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I could, I would give you an award. But alas, I cannot. So the highest praise I can award you with, is faving your artwork.

I have often used a star filter when I used my Canon AE1 SLR. I love the glittery effect. So now I use the UV also. And this scene of yours is truly awesome. The reflection the fence gives makes it look so very sea=faring! I can't think of another word for that. It's what I would expect on a boat/ship or dock somehow. This is a scene where I would love to be wanding thru and feel the silent comfort.
Maybe find a bench to sit on and just "be." This is going onto my desktop right now. And this would be a most beautiful photo matted in white and framed in glossy black. Bravo Jay..bravo. Verena
