Onieda Lake, N.Y. To the left is a small island with one Cabin looking out to the east. This was a fast manip. using one exposure, a few monochrome layers and color overlay. My main focus here was the drama factor, bringing out the natural cloud formations which to me is crazy cool. I took this shot while Walleye Fishing from the back of a moving boat. (Yes I reeled in a few Northern Pikes but no Walleye!) Anyways, I didnt bother trying to smooth out the grain. I actually liked it here. Perhaps the original will be next.. (?) Stay Tuned..

i particularly like the little house in the trees, love the colours, looks spooky and stormy. im not so sure about the grain myself, but on the whole i like the atmosphere of this one alot.

I agree about the crazy clouds. You've succeeded in highlighting them. I like the tones here, but would also love to see the before image. Surreal to imagine that sky coming up while fishing. Picturesque lake!

You sure do know how to pump up the drama. I love the lighting on the cabin and trees. Makes you wonder what the clouds are going to do next.

I think its fabulous. I have a photo that the sky looks similar to this but it is just sky and trees and nearly as neat looking as this. A truly great job
