This Bird of Paradise plant is so lovely! I did a canvas painting of one once...they are hard to paint..but so pretty to look at. You cant miss with this photo..you did it perfectly.
it IS a lovely plant, i dont know if it was captured and presented the best way though. Maybe it would've looked better if the bud came from the bottom right corner, and if only the bud was coloured, everything was black and white. I think the plant is really nice though, the first time i've seen one. The tips look like they've been painted and fade a little bid at the end, that's looks really nice, and the lighting is good too. If you take my advice, let me know i wanna see how it turns out.
Panda:That particular plant has no "bud" the way you mentioned it. The flower blooms OUT OF that area slowly til the top part looks almost like a roosters crown..The plant has parts of red and parts of blue. So the whole flower stalk looks like an upside down "L"....its a most gorgeous tropical plant...These are the only colours it comes in as far as I know. Look it up on the inernet and you'll find some interesting information.
ive seen one where the colours looked diffenerent then this but i think it was because it hadnt fully developed... plus this plant receves alot of attention to keep it looking good as it is in the RBG
Also the only photoshop work that was done was to remove a peice of dust that was on my lens besides that it is 100% real
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
