The inspiration for this composition came from the "NCA Report" opening of the movie "2010 - Odyessy 2". For the star, I just used the Photoshop flare effect, and then added the computer-like fonts...
If you read the Arthur Clarke novel of the same name...You'll find this IS the given name to the new star that was once Planet Jupiter, according to the fictional storyline...

Most unusual image! Is Lucifer a pal of Hal the computer in "2001 A Space Odyessy" I'm guessing that Lucifer Rising is not a good thing :) Think we need to watch out for that star. This does look good on the desktop-plenty of room for the icons. Interesting work!

Like this one. I too, see the opening credits of a movie. Coming out of cryosleep to read the report on where you're headed. A distress call that's really a warning. You, Good vision, me, too many late night sci-fi movies.
