Original ... I used a 1960's-era image of two men playing chess in NYC/Tempkins Park...One of the gentlemen in the picture was wearing an outfit which I thought was more reminiscant of the 1930's...hence this composition's theme....See Also: The Ghost at Darcy Manor

What a cool manipulation Ron. The one on the left really does take one back in time and I like the way you projected that theme. Very nicely done. Anita

"Ron at the controls again and he knows them like the back of his hand"! You can't get paid enough for what you do. I expect the stock images bring the inspirations and you run with it! Keep on running.....you're doing so great!

Good effects Ron, to create that "time warp" feel. The halo and sepia tones communicate that well. Nice content matter too... love this new wallpaper!

I really like this. You are right about the one guy looking old fashioned. also the emotion in there faces is so perfect for the mood of the shot. The one thing that i noticed that would make this better is something that isn't really in your control but ill mention it anyways. You had to blow the picture up to get the right resoultion for the site, so the picture (the guy on the right is the most noticable) isn't very sharp. Would be kindof an interesting project to do the shot with a picture you have taken so you can have the right resoultion and a sharp shot. But like i said before, you have thought of a great idea and worked with what you had to do an excellent job.

The similarities in their faces looks like he could be playing his father. This one just begs for a short story to be written around it. Very good idea and execution.
