...a.k.a. "Tapping someone else's resources"...in my family, it's known as "The Straw in Someone's Soda" (They should know...right?)...We all see and accuse one another of this in our own families, and circle of friends, and we certaily see it constantly going on in the world around us...

I don't pretend to be the smartest person in the world, and I'm certainly flawed beyond belief...but Um...isn't the image on the right...the same thing...in a roundabout sort of way?

Whenever we need money we don't have, or see something really tempting we have to have now...God forbid, we should wait...right? Aren't we all... "sticking our straws in someone's soda"(?)I know I certaily am guilty of this one!

After all, we certainly weren't forced into things...Maybe we shouldn't be so quick to "point a finger"...

Over the years we had straws in each others' drinks.... Nasty evil things were done yet Ma and Pa weren't intrinsically evil: We had wonderful, magical Christmases for one thing, for another we spent summers on a New England lake that are still on my warmest memories list... The truth lies somewhere in the grey areas beyond black and white. So... there is food for thought in this image... and right now I'm looking forward to Christmas dinner at my favorite restaurant!

Merry Christmas to you, Ron!
