Moving on via Interstate One...

North Thieverton - Once a not-so-upscale set back borough of the neighboring Thieverton that always received the "shorter end of the stick" in the form of highly inflated property taxes, neglected or sometimes nonexistant vital public works services, poor public safety (also sometimes nonexistant), etc...Some fifty-odd years ago, the municipal heirarchy, at the insistance of the distgruntled people of the area, allowed a vote which resulted in the north section to branch off into an entirely separate municipality (Thieverton's more affluent were somewhat relieved when this took place)...But things change over the years, and now the community is pretty close to its wealthy parent, as the 'burb is littered with luxury townhomes and condos, expensive McMansions, high-end automobile dealerships, pricey health spas/wellness centers, premium shopping malls (Ahh, but there IS an "Ultra-Low-Haus Monsterstore" that the peeps are starting to frequent more often these days...I'll get into that in a later submission), and gourmet eateries...

Ghosttown - So named because a good portion of the community is built on burial grounds of the Phantoma (pronounced "fan-TOHH-mah") Indian Nation that once dominated the entire region, then mysteriously disappeared a few hundred years before Lady Tanglebrain and her party ventured into the area...However, with a record number of business bankruptcies, unemployment, and property foreclosures (the latter being the highest in Artopolis Metro) within the past few years, this once middle-class suburb is becoming just as its namesake implies...

I see Ghosttown clones everywhere. Ron, I have always loved your art, but somehow I missed the fact that you can write as well. I loved the narative.
