...Another road trip to NYC about two weeks ago...This time, my sister was driving :)
A phone cam snap out the shotgun window of just a part the MTA Coney Island Complex while traveling down the Belt Parkway...Supposedly, the largest mass transit rail yard in the world (It certainly is in the city)...Old Subway/LIRR cars are decommissioned here (stripped of all salvageable parts before scrapping), while new cars/trains await commissioning (final preparation before being dispatched for regular service), as well as a facility for cleaning, storing, and routine maintenance...

A great shot on the fly Ron! Very interesting narrative too. This looks like an area in my hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota (although I'm sure that it would be a much smaller version in Mpls.).
