...A scant few answers to some FAQs concerning this exit:

Nun's Walk: Legend has it an unknown nun would venture into to the village every Saturday and spend the whole day happily interacting with the townspeople, bringing some cheer to the sick, downtrodden, and elderly... She would also tell Bible stories and fairy tales with a lot of characterization to the children who gathered in the town square to listen until suppertime...She would then say her good-byes and walk back to the convent via the railroad tracks that ran parallel to the main road, which at that time was mostly dirt and mud, barely passable even on horseback at best...One moonlit night while on the return journey, she supposedly was struck by a train...Her body however, was never found...Saddened by her loss, the town's mayor re-named the town after her weekly visits on foot (It must've been one bear of a walk, being that the convent was at least 10 miles away)...It is said that on moonlit nights, her ghost walks aimlessly through the streets of the town...No one has ever confirmed this, however...

Forgotten Convent: Nothing more than a bend in the road with a village hall & public safety building, a small market, a drugstore, a bar (ALWAYS a bar!), a few houses and McMansions here and there, the now unused train station (all passenger/commuter service for the area is now handled in Nun's Walk) ...and of course, an old abandoned Gothic style convent about half a mile off the main road in the middle of a wooded area...The legend here is that the Mother Superior of the Order was a maniacal and tyrannical control freak who ran the convent like a prison, often subjecting those under her to different forms of medieval torture as punishment for disobedience...Furthermore, it is said that the kindly nun that made weelky visits to the neighboring village actually WAS the Evil Mother Superior in disguise, and that her death and disappearance might've been carried out by the very women she terrorized...Again, no one can confirm this, although the convent was discreetly shut down shortly afterwards, and has been abandoned ever since...Nowadays, it's a favorite gathering spot and party place for the local youth, most of it rendered unusable by vandalization and the elements...Some say, the place might even be haunted...Possibly is...

Anyone wanna make a visit and experience the mystery? There's food, fuel, and lodging, you know...

Spend a few minutes each day being grateful for what you have and who you have to share it with.
