...A few years back, a long-stagnant referendum was finally approved by the Mess County Board of Commissioners, the Transit Authority of Artopolis, and the National Park Service to build a thirty mile mass-transit rail extension that runs from Artopolis Beach south to the City of Witches' Valley... Funding was partially public, while most of it was provided via anonymous private contributions, which made a good number of politicians VERY happy!

Hence, "The Witches' Valley Line" (a.k.a. "The Purple Trains" - being that the exterior skin of the train cars are painted purple, of course), which travels through the 'burbs of Pillory and Draculia, then follows the Gallows Ridge (Eastern Slope) of the Valley itself through the National Park and its related stations, and finally terminates at Witches' Valley Station... Like the rest of the transit lines, it is powered by third-rail electric (The Park Service wouldn't have approved of it at all if everything had utilized the ugly overhead electric distribution method that they said "would spoil the beauty of the surrounding landscape"...The electric cattle fences erected to keep the deer and other critters away from the track beds are enough of an eyesore, the NPS claims)... Most of the portion through the park commands a spectacular view of the Valley and the Familiar Slough which carved out everything millions of years ago...Visitors to the park via trains can enter through admissions gates at Park Center (Main Road Gates and Administration Buildings), the station at the famous landmark, Witches' Rock , and then thirdly, Gallows Ridge (South Road Gates and picnic areas)...During "Owl Service" (12AM to 6AM) however, the train does not stop at any of the aforementioned park-situated stations due to park hours running from 6AM to 12 Midnight...

The people that reside in the City of Witches' Valley were probably the happiest when the Purple Trains opened, thus linking their small town with the City of Artopolis and the rest of the Metro Area, all with a great scenic experience along the way (Most of it, at any rate)...Check it all out sometime!

Do not correct a Fool, or he will hate you. Correct a Wise man and he will appreciate you.

Oh, cool.. now I can use up these tooth tokens I have left over from my last visit to Gallows Ridge.

... ...

I gotta tell ya, though..

Those tokens are sharp.. caution advised if carrying in one's pockets.
