A big hearty THANKS goes to Owd Bob, for his tutorial on replacing skies. He helped me also via email. It sure is a lot of fun doing things like this to pictures. Click Here to see the original. I also left the island looking a little hazy, to make it appear the clouds were partially covering it.

Owd Bob provived us with a good tutorial to replace washed-out skies in images by dramatic skies Jim.
I have some images with a washed-out sky too, but haven't (yet) clouds images, so I have to wait (as the weather is very sunny now here) for the clouds to come, lol.
You've done a real good job JimwheretheskiesarecloudyalldayboB.

Ah yes the wisdom of Owd Bob. Isn't this a cool technique? I've used it a couple of times myself too, and thanks to Bob for the additional email info from me as well. You did a really good job here JimBob, it's hard to get the water matching the sky. JimLukeSkyWalkerManipulatorBob it is - and thanks to Owd Bob One Kanobi for the tip.
