This was taken Sunday up at Lake Erie, near Marblehead, Ohio. It was a little windy, and very hot.

The angle of the boat made for a perfect spotlight effect. Great cloud formations also. A good shot!

I had to look twice to make sure you hadn't manipt everything into the photo. Love the mountain like clouds. It looks cooler that you suggest. Nice post JimhotairboB.

Very nice and peaceful photo Jim Bob, with a real sense of the scale of the skies and water. One suggestion - a crop to put the boat on the 'golden section' - but I like it as is too.

Looks like a bloody huge ocean!!...super shot pal...

I agree a little with Nigel to crop a little of this...but it may lose some of those excellent skies along the way!...

Tough call!

Don't understand why you're not on that boat (by manip, lol) as sailing is great.
Suppose it doesn't amaze you when I say that I love this wonderful capture Jim.

Can't get use to a lake that looks like the sea! Those are some mighty clouds. I presume it rained later. Great shot, JimonthewaterboB.

Jim, this will do well. The clouds look fantastic and the placement of the boat off center just highlights the tranquil water. Nicely done!

This is one of your best I think, I just love those clouds in the distance billowing up. I also thought when first seeing this whether you had cloned the yacht onto the water, but then realised you hadn't. (You're getting too good these days for us all to tell the difference!!! lol) And Danika is right it makes a wonderful DT. Well done!
