I was sad because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet... so I says to him, "Hey brother, ya wanna sell those shoes?"

Jim, this has got it all. Well composed, the right saturation of color and details. The shadows and light play really add to this wonderful image. We have a covered bridge Not too awful far from here but never can get a good shot of it for some reason. sandi♥

What a nice surprise to find this in the wooded area of this lovely park. Not too many of these around. Is this one still used? I agree about the shadows and sunlight. I'd want to explore here some more.

I have seen a few shots of covered bridges in the US, but I am wondering why they do that. Why would you need a cover while you are crossing a bridge? Maybe just because it looks beautiful! :) ...and your photograph is very good Jim - nice composition with leading lines.

Looks like a very lush and very tranquil spot Jim Bob. I like these structures, I can almost imagine the smell of the timber inside bringing back lots of memories.

I have always wonder why they are building these sort of bridges. You will get wet anyway if you do not stay in there....do you know? I love this pic!

I dont think I have seen a covered bridge like that over here in Britain, or if there are any, I dont know where they are. This is a lovely capture in which you have got everything just right from the colour, clarity, light and subject. Well done!

Beautiful JimboB. I like covered bridges. We need to send Joanie to Madison County to get some shots of their bridges. Love the angle and I can sense the creek below. Love the browns and greens. Should do well.
