I wanted to go down that blacktop road, but it was on private property. So, I went back a ways, and took this shot of a section of the Sandusky River, near Fremont, Ohio.

Your images are getting better and better with each post my friend. I love this image. Excellent colors and the sky just pops out at you. And one heck of a reflection. Going straight to Favs.

This is beautiful Jim. I love those reflections of the clouds in the water divided by the land and trees, which are also stunning! Well done!

Jim, I like to give you an advice. Do what I do in these conditons. Capture your images as fast as you can. When someone then is coming to you saying that you're on private property, answer him/her: "I'm so sorry, but I can't read what's on the sign as I'm an illiterate." Know for sure that people will look at you with some pity, but you have your images (j/k!!!!). Have the risk now that everyone on Caedes think I'm a liar.
Great post again JimignoretheprivatepropertysignboB.

Cornelius's suggestion only works for those people who ask before shooting.

When you say Sandusky Bay I assume this is Lake Erie. I don't think I have ever seen it this calm. Great capture, clarity and nicely framed.

Way to go,

Great shot in many ways. I can see why you would want to take the drive on that private road. Nicely done Jim.

You could have posed as a camera salesman. Who knows, you might have sold one. Don't sell this camera though, because you are doing so well with it. Great reflections and love the coloring. It appears you finally got some great sky your way. Score should be even higher.

Excellent post JimboB.

You should take a leaf out of Owd Bob's book and become a professional trespasser. I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you offered them a copy of this great shot. Lovely reflections in that lake JimBob.
