I guess you should have taken your shoes off and tip toed but Egrets are very alert and anything sets them off. but you did an exellent job catching the curve of his wings and legs during take-off...good action pic! Jimbob

Egret on departure. VFR (Visual Flight Rules) rules apply. Great shot and wonderfully clear. I love the grace and elegance of those birds. You captured it all.
Thanx

You are neither taxed nor fined if you look at My Gallery.
--I liked this shot anyway--
I like it too Jim as it's a very good shot. Bob suggested: "Shoulda took a loaf of bread with you!", but think you should have achieved a still better result with a fresh fish, lol.
Well done JimegretwhenshefliesboB.
I think this is a really fabulous action capture Jim. Yes it sure is hard sneaking up on them, oh well you tried. Love the colours & composition, he sure is a beautiful bird. Superb Posting.
Pictures say a thousand words but the artist taking the picture can say more. Take care and god bless you and yours each and every day'
What really brings a member to view your work I say the naming of your image I know it does me, the name makes me want to see that image'
I want you to know that I really like this shot very much. I first saw it in t he VB and had to find out who took it! Wonderful contrasts through out, lovely clouds and such a graceful looking bird. He looks like he is soaring. Great shot, Jim!
Looks like a Superman Exit.
They are hard to shoot Jim.
Next time don't sneak up just walk along as if you don't even see him. Ignore him and he'll stay right there.
Try it.
