I love the great opening expanse of water that's so tranquil, I suppose your preparing yourselves for winter over there now.

Jim, I love the two different textures of the water, smooth in the background and rippled in the foreground. FAB-U-LOUS reflection, colours and composition.

After 50 years of photography I shoot for memories not perfection
Peaceful pretty pond with puffy white clouds floating overhead in a bright blue sky. In the distance I see white Lily's floating on lily pads. Very serene summer scene.

Wonderful cloud reflections, Jimbob. This is what I was trying to hang onto before Autumn showed up! lol It was only a few weeks ago! Thank you so much for this nostalgic view of summer with its wonderful blues and greens and bright sunny skies. I'll just keep it on the desktop as a reminder when winter begins to feel too long. lol

Oh this is ever so pretty, what a nice place to be if you had a rowboat and a pretty lady at your side! A little picnic basket filled with goodies, some pillow and just leaning back listening to the birds and the water. The colours are so lovely here Jimbo...and those reflections are awesome.
